Carbon fiber construction coupled with an efficient and seaworthy hull design makes the delta 54 carbon 30-80% lighter than other vessels of the same size. She is also stiffer, stronger and lighter, which allows her to use smaller engines and drives yet remain faster at cruise and top speeds than aluminum, steel or fiberglass vessels.
