Essex Yacht Sales is located in the Dauntless Shipyard. The main offices are in the building directly facing the head of A and B docks, adjacent to the main Pratt Street entrance. Ample parking for clients is available directly in front of the office.

When in Essex, be sure to visit the historic Griswold Inn, serving travelers and yachtsmen continuously since 1776. Take a moment to enjoy the famous Taproom, the unique collection of Antonio Jacobsen portraits of the great steamships of the nineteenth century, nautical ephemera, and the Norman Rockwell sketch for his September 21, 1940 illustration for the Saturday Evening Post "River Pilot"

Also, call in at the Black Seal for some hearty grub and salty bar-chat, and do not miss the Connecticut River Museum, and former Steam Boat Dock, celebrating "one of the last great places in the hemisphere."

To celebrate buying that great boat, why not set course to the Copper Beech Inn, for sophisticated dining, a terrific bar and elegant, romantic, accommodations? It is just three miles from the Shipyard.
